Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information ProxyFree collects when you use this website, and what it doesn't.
What we collect
ProxyFree does not require account registration to browse or filter the free proxy list, so we don't collect names, email addresses, or payment details from visitors. Like virtually any website, our server automatically logs standard technical information for security and troubleshooting purposes — your IP address, browser/user-agent string, the pages you request, and timestamps. These logs are used for operating and securing the site (for example, detecting abuse) and are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
The public-facing site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie in use is a session cookie created when someone logs into the admin panel, which is required for that login to function and is not used to track visitors browsing the proxy list. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Third-party proxy data
The proxy list itself is aggregated automatically from public, third-party proxy-listing APIs. We don't control those sources and have no relationship with the operators of the proxy servers listed — using them is entirely at your own discretion and risk. See our Disclaimer for more on this.
Data retention
Server logs are retained only as long as necessary for security and operational purposes and are periodically purged. We do not maintain long-term visitor profiles.
Your choices
Because we don't collect personal accounts or profiles, there's generally nothing to request deletion of beyond standard server logs. If you have a specific privacy question, please reach out via the contact information available on this site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
